Talked about this two months ago in the Business of Speed newsletter from early May (Read: https://lnkd.in/dZe9NttP) And from a March edition of the letter (Read: https://lnkd.in/dKQr7JRm) we highlighted how in Liberty Media's Formula 1 teams are worth on average, $1.88 billion, according to a Forbes estimate. This is an incredible 276% increase from the $500 million average when Forbes last valued the series’ teams in 2019 (using 2018 revenue figures). And these F1 teams operate like Silicon Valley startups on steroids. Team bosses like Toto Wolff and Zak Brown aren't just engineering fast cars; they're spearheading global enterprises, thinking about culture, innovation, and the bottom line. All of this is bringing in US-based brands with big sponsorship dollars. What sector is next? Quali performance evolution though the year for the the top 5 F1 teams. How it changed from race to race, why, correlating with changes from regulation perspective, how competition improved, track specifics and many more.
