ALFA MIMtech’s Post

Debinding is a delicate stage that requires precise control to guarantee the final quality of the parts produced by the MIM process. This phase is carried out after injection and before sintering, involving the removal of the binder from the moulded part. The aim is to remove the binder from the green part without affecting its shape, making it a fundamental step in the MIM process to achieve high-quality final parts with suitable mechanical properties.   At Alfa MIMTECH we employ catalytic debinding, where a catalyst is used to accelerate the decomposition of the binder. It is crucial to control the temperature, time, and atmosphere during debinding, and the process must be gradual to avoid defects and deformations in the parts. #metalinjectionmolding #alfamimtech #MIMTechnology #metalparts #steel #MIMtech #partsmanufacturing #supplychain #metalparts #catamold #Innovation #MIM #sintering #AdvancedManufacturing #Manufacturing
