How will you get your dream job in 6 months when you complete your BBA, BCom, MBA or any such degree. Do you have a plan, or you are dependent on your college or someone else to provide you a job. I will suggest you develop a plan as when you will need one because 1. Once you look for job, you will realize that things you have learned in past few years have little relevance for companies. 2. Are you ready for facing an interview from these standpoint a. Domain - Do you have absolute clarity in the concepts in the area of Accounting, Finance b. Spreadsheet Skills- Do you have expertise in excel where you can make financial models, perform financial analysis. c. Soft Skill- Have you practised the interview in your mind multiple times. This allows you to think of questions that can be asked and prepare for the same. If answer to all of the above is yes, you are on right path to get a job in your dream company. If no, develop a plan to work on these areas. If you work 2-3 hours dedicatedly each day for 6 months, there is a chance of you getting your dream job. #accounting #finance #jobs #graduates

There are two types of education 1st bookish knowledge and 2nd is financial knowledge. But, we are almost taught bookish knowledge 💯 not financial. School and colleges never teach us how to leave they only focus on how to get much more marks in exams and how to do top but it's not the real education. The real education works on humanity and create values in us, feeding helping nature, respect others and all. So, choose our education wisely 🎈. Recently, during a conversation with finance freshers, one question stood out: “Do I really need to be great with numbers to succeed in finance? I’m not very comfortable working on complicated financial sheets.” It’s a valid concern, and here’s what I shared with them: Finance is not solely about mastering numbers; it’s about understanding the bigger picture. While numerical skills can help, many roles in finance focus more on decision-making, strategy, and communication. For instance: ✅ Investor Relations: emphasizes storytelling with data. ✅ Risk & Compliance: involves interpreting policies and frameworks. ✅ Wealth Management: is about client relationships and advisory. ✅ Corporate Strategy: centers on implementing big-picture goals. However, building basic comfort with numbers can make a world of difference. Have you ever felt drawn to something so strongly that you just knew it was the right path? That’s exactly how I feel about finance. My career began in data analysis, where I focused on extracting insights with accuracy, managing projects, and solving bulk data challenges. But over time, I found myself increasingly fascinated by investments, financial markets, and risk analysis. That curiosity turned into a passion, which led me to pursue a Master’s in Risk and Investment Management, and now, I’m ready to take the leap into the finance industry. But let’s be real. Breaking into finance as a fresher isn’t easy. And that’s where I would love to hear from you— - How did you land your first investment-related role? - What skills or certifications made a real difference in your journey? - If you were starting fresh today, what would you focus on? I would love to hear your thoughts so feel free to share your experience in the comments or drop me a message. Looking forward to learning from you'll! #FinanceCareers #InvestmentBanking #CareerAdvice #JobSearch #FinancialMarkets
