Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. As we grieve along w/ the loved ones for trans lives lost in the last year, we also stand in steadfast solidarity w/ #Transhealth leaders and advocates. Because ALL health care must be gender-affirming. A key development in Ontario, supported by the work of @OntarioHealthOH and others, is the development of new Quality Standards for Gender-Affirming Care for Gender Diverse people. Don’t know current data, but a few years ago 17 percent of Trans children committed suicide 🤷♂️🙈🤷♂️
