Don’t use stale insights to make today’s strategy! In the world of business, it's not just about knowing your strengths; it's also about staying on top of the game, embracing new data, and adapting your strategy as things evolve. Let's take a look at the recent AFCON final between Nigeria's Super Eagles and Ivory Coast. (Yes, I have not moved on just yet.) Nigeria had previously beaten Ivory Coast in the group stage, so they probably felt pretty confident going into the final. However, they didn't anticipate the hunger and determination of Ivory Coast. Ivory Coast, having learned from their previous loss, came into the final ready to fight. They played aggressively and ended up winning. This is a great lesson for businesses: don't get too comfortable with past successes. Stay informed, stay hungry, and always be ready to adapt to new challenges. Keep being Intentional.

CEO and GMD at Sujimoto Group | Real Estate & Hospitality Expert | Forbes Afrique - Choiseul 100 Africa | CREDIT RATING BBB
Putting all your eggs in one basket means laser-focusing on a single project and driving it until it succeeds. This approach served me well with Sujimoto over the last 10 years, but it almost led to the collapse of my business. Although amazing and effective in other countries, but this can NEVER happen in Nigeria, and the reason is, this strategy doesn't align with Nigeria's retail economy. In Nigeria, the most successful business players typically diversify. 100 out of 100 Africa's top entrepreneurs own more than three (3) businesses. Recognizing this, we've reevaluated our strategy and are now expanding into five (5) different industries under Sujimoto Holdings: Real Estate, Tech, Farming, Hotels/Hospitality, and Manufacturing. We learn, We Move, We Evolve. Let's learn from you. What are the challenges and opportunities you are facing in your businesses? It's already too late to fail. 1+1=11 Video Credits: @omareltakrori #motomatics #sujimoto #luxury #growth #manufacturing #fintech #Godblessyourhustle #win #success #strategy #business #realestate
