When a compressor fails and contaminates the system with debris, flushing the condenser is typically part of the solution. However, with newer multi-flow or parallel-flow condensers, flushing can worsen the problem. It may lead to continuous high pressure, and dislodged debris can circulate through the system, causing blockages in the TX valve, evaporator, or even the compressor, resulting in further failures.
The most effective and cost-efficient solution is to fit a full compressor kit (including a condenser) and perform a complete system flush—avoiding the headache of rework.
