Safety for humans and wildlife is and important feature for all OEM´s of agricultural field robots to have in place before reaching the market. A solid system where unforeseen obstacles are detected in due time. However the farmers requires more than that. The obstacle detection needs also to efficient in a way where is doesn´t create a lot of false-positive notifications, which the farmer needs to responds to. 🌟 Highlighting Excellence in Seed Sorting 🌟 At Allegiant, we believe in challenging ourselves to achieve the extraordinary. Recently, we faced the intricate task of removing Galium aparine (Rubiaceae cleaver) from Canola seeds using the 3U Vision Srl's Fenix optical sorter. This grey-brown cleaver, characterized by rough white flecks where hooks may have been rubbed off, poses a unique challenge due to its globose seed shape with a distinct hollow at the center front and overlapping colours with Canola seed. The seeds range in size from 2.5mm to 4mm in diameter, making the sorting process particularly demanding. We recently performed a bulk test of this product at our test facility in Sunshine Coast and successfully met this challenge, ensuring that final product maintained the highest quality standards. We are proud of the combination of 3U Vision Srl's sorting technology and Allegiant's skills and expertise in achieving this milestone. xFarm Technologies Expands Its Footprint in Europe with Strategic Acquisitions xFarm Technologies, which supports daily operations on 340,000 farms across four million hectares, has announced the acquisition of Spain’s Greenfield Technologies and France’s SpaceSense. Bioled Photoperiod embraces the Lean System: A path to efficiency and customer value At BIOLED Photoperiod, we are transforming the way we work. Since July of this year, alongside the experts at Rito Consultores, we have embarked on an ambitious process to adopt the Lean System, a methodology designed to eliminate unnecessary processes and focus on what truly matters: delivering maximum value to our customers, both in Chile and international markets. According to Cristina Navarro, general manager of Bioled, ”this change not only optimizes our production but also reinforces our commitment to excellence. We aim to be a company that always stays ahead, providing agile and high-quality solutions for our national and international clients”. Meanwhile, Franco Capurro, management control analyst, highlighted "we are reorganizing key departments, such as the technical and continuous improvement areas, to ensure that every action aligns with our customers needs”. Through workshops led by expert coaches, this process will continue until December, laying the foundation for a more agile and effective approach.
