AMEA (Agribusiness Market Ecosystem Alliance)’s Post

It's time to celebrate! After more than 6 years of work and a robust consultation process, with support from NEN, AMEA has launched the "ISO 18716:2024 - Professional Farmer Organization - Guidance". Not meant as a certification, this standard offers a much-needed common framework that enables structured growth, ensuring that farmer organisations are well equipped to meet their business needs, and can access better markets and financing opportunities. We invite you to check the video and access the Standard through the links below. 🎥 Watch the campaign video: https://lnkd.in/eFUa3PKN 📄 Access the ISO 18716 here: https://lnkd.in/eutX_q_k Thank you to all involved and a special thank you to Sabrina Amburgey, Mark Blackett, Thamar Zijlstra, Linda Kersten - van Gaalen, Alan Johnson, Lucas Simons, Maaike Fleur, Filipe Di Matteo, Lori-Rae van Laren, Harrison Richard Kaziro, Desta Damena Heyi, Rene Frenken, O. This is something to pursue sustainable food systems in Malawi. Been thinking about how to make FBOs profitable as they balance between food trade and food security. With the AfCFTA at the door, there is a threat to food security in Africa.... This will be our early Christmas gift at Planetarium Institute
