My Journey as 2024 JCI Akure Local President: Overcoming Challenges, Achieving Greatness As I reflect on my tenure as the 2024 Local President of JCI Akure, I am filled with a mix of emotions - pride, gratitude, and relief. It's hard to believe that my journey, which began with uncertainty and skepticism, has culminated in unprecedented success. When I took the reins, I knew the road ahead wouldn't be easy. Our local organization faced numerous challenges: dwindling membership, financial struggles, and internal conflicts. Many doubted my ability to turn things around, but I was determined to prove my capacity. With unwavering resolve, I embarked on a mission to revitalize JCI Akure. I engaged with members, listened to their concerns, and fostered an environment of transparency and inclusivity. Through open communication and collaborative leadership, we began to heal old wounds and bridge gaps. One of my earliest goals was to set new records while sustaining the ones I inherited. We launched innovative projects, expanded our community outreach, and strengthened partnerships with local stakeholders. Our membership grew, and financial stability improved. We broke barriers, achieving milestones that once seemed impossible. Today, as I near the end of my tenure, I beam with pride. We've exceeded expectations, and our 2024 Convention promises to be the most memorable yet. It will not only celebrate our achievements but also mark the Investiture of my successor, the JCI Akure 2025 Local Organization President Abisola Aluko As I prepare to pass the baton, I am filled with a sense of fulfillment. My team and I have laid a solid foundation for future growth. I've learned invaluable lessons about resilience, leadership, and the power of collective effort. To my fellow JCI Akure members, I offer these parting words: never underestimate the potential within you. Embrace challenges, and strive for excellence. Remember, leadership is not about personal glory but about empowering others to shine. As I close this chapter, I look forward to the next, knowing that JCI Akure's future is brighter than ever. © Kunle Olajuyin #LeadershipEduNetwork #JCI

Tuesday Takeaways. I met Nelli T. at one of #HBA networking events she organised and I learned from her quite a few things just from two or three interactions we had. When I told her about what was happening in my world, Nelli listened, really really listened. It is something I actively work on as a skill to improve and interactions with Nelli was like a mini masterclass on active listening. Then Nelli's clarity in deciding what's important and what's has to wait or to be left behind even. Lastly, her passion for helping others to achieve their full potential is so clear to see. A sign of a true and effective leader. Isn't it great when life gives us opportunities to learn from others? All we need to do is to notice and to implement.

In the welcoming and inspiring venue of Vorres Museum, surrounded by unique expressions of our cultural heritage and our nation's modern forward-thinking exhibits, CEO Clubs Greece welcomed more than 300 participants, CEOs-Club Members and their executive teams, to its 32nd Forum, focusing on "High-Performance Leadership: A Matter of Trust". Over the past 15 years, the Club's Forums have evolved into an institution, a reference point for the CEOs in Greece, addressing topics in a unique way, blending theory and practice and setting the foundation for the sustainable, effective, and meaningful development of leadership in our country. The importance of Trust in connection to Leadership was analyzed with the help of three keynote speakers of international acclaim: Duncan Stevens, Andy Atkins and Dimitris Dimitriadis and a vibrant panel discussion among CEOs-Club Members offered practical insights into the theoretical background: Christina Alevizou, Achilleas Aggelopoulos, Fotini Karageorgi, Iakovos Michalitsis and Andonis Papagiannakopoulos, moderated by Dr. Polydefkis Loukopoulos. "I invite you all to be part of the paradigm-shifting that we are co-creating here today," said Georgia Kartsanis, Founder and President of CEO Clubs Greece, in her welcoming address. "We often take Trust for granted, yet it is one of the most important foundations of leadership, our compass when we navigate through unchartered territory, and the beacon that helps us define the path forward. My personal wish and goal is that, by the end of the Forum today, we will all perceive trust not as a luxury or a utopia but as one of the most vital elements that helps successfully lead our teams and organizations into the future” #CΕΟClubsGreece #CeoClubsForum #HighPerformanceLeadership #SustainableLeadership #Trust #CoCreation #FutureThinking #GlobalLeadership #CEOClubsMembers #CEOClubsCommunity #GlobalEliteNetwork #ExecutiveManagementTeams

PMI Chapter Leaderdhip: So this is the celebration at a PmI Chapter (specifically DC)but to the underlying point: The Ambassador program developed by Joseph Cruzjesu, VP of Partnerships and Sponsorships, at PMIWDC is an outreach program from the chapter leadership to the companies that are the employers of our members. Through chapter members PMIWDC connects to the leaders of companies, from the inside…to establish why and how the company and the chapter can be connected to support PM professionals. It can lead to getting speakers, finding new members and generating sponsorship—and companies get to genuinely engage in the development and support of their PMs through the many activities of the chapter. Great idea. Great implementation. Share your examples with me next year so we can see how well we stay focused on the corporate delivery of Project Mangement.
🎉 Thank You for Celebrating with Us at the Ambassador Gala! 🎉 On behalf of PMIWDC, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us last week at the Ambassador Gala to celebrate and recognize the incredible contributions of our partners, sponsors, ambassadors, and volunteers who drive the success of the Partnerships team. A special shout-out to Arockia 'Joseph' Cruzjesu, and his team for planning and executing such a memorable event. Your dedication and effort truly reflect the excellence and collaboration we value. 🙌 We’re excited about what lies ahead and look forward to the continued growth of the program in 2025. To our long-standing supporters and new partners—thank you for your unwavering commitment to PMIWDC. Your support makes a lasting impact! The PMIWDC Ambassador Program is a fantastic opportunity for anyone to get involved with the Chapter. By representing PMIWDC within your company or organization, you can engage, empower, and educate others about our mission and the incredible difference they can make by joining us. 💡 Check out the event highlights and let’s continue building on this momentum together! #PMIWDC #AmbassadorGala #Partnerships #VolunteerRecognition #Leadership #Collaboration #ThankYou
