Are you feeling, sensing, and seeing DEI resistance? GREAT!!! This pushback has me the most excited I have been in my 20+ years doing this work. If people are talking about DEI, then we now have an opportunity to discuss it more comprehensively than ever. It doesn't matter if it's negative. What matters is that those (practitioners (in a formal DEI role and mostly not) and the organizations in which they contribute) committed to deepening have the opportunity to do so now! We can be in dialogue about how to make it accessible to everyone, actionable (i.e., unambiguously prioritized), and aligned with organizational purpose. There's never been a better time to build a robust approach to DEI. P.S. It doesn't matter what you call it as long as it creates the conditions for everyone to thrive and organizations to create extraordinary value (and not *just* financially). #EMERGENTinclusionSystem #Inclusion #Diversity #InclusionWins

Increased resistance in #DEI is a good sign. 🤼 Instead of dismissing those with opposing views, we should engage in constructive dialogue to foster deeper understanding and drive meaningful #change. 🗣️🤝 By fostering a more inclusive and respectful environment, we can distinguish those genuinely committed to DEI.
