For #SocialWellnessMonth, we'd like to remind everyone about the importance of having a healthy social life. Having positive social connections has been linked to increased health benefits, including reduced stress, improved ability to fight off illnesses, and even living a longer life. #Accessibility is a crucial aspect of social wellness, and ensuring everyone has the proper access not only to enter and exit their home safely, but access to community spaces, events, and activities as well. This access is just as important for people with disabilities as it is to caregivers, who often experience elevated stress levels, and can sometimes push their own needs aside in favor of caring for their loved ones.
