Want to know which companies offer paid internship and which do not? Here is a free database by the interns and for the interns. Not only stipend, it also covers, which companies offer meaningful internships. And also prior experience. Hopefully, this will turn out to be very helpful if there are enough and accurate data. And this has to be continuously updated. So, if you are an intern or have completed your internship recently, please contribute to this by filling up the survey form (link in the comments). Everything is anonymous, so don't be afraid. Please mention the name of the company because only then it's going to be helpful. And if you are looking for interns, do refer to this database to see which companies you would like to intern with. (link to the database in the comments too.) Plus I urge you all to take ownership of this and spread the words so that we can build a large database of how internships work in Nepal. Feel free to repost this in your network, so that more people can contribute to this. I know the number of interns or people seeking interns in Nepal may not be using Linkedin much but do spread the words by sharing the form links and the database in other social media.

"It's so hard to get a PR role with no experience, should I take an unpaid internship?" 🤔💸 This is one of the common questions we get from students and grads looking to get into the PR industry. The good news is, you shouldn't have to work for free. The PR industry has made strides in ensuring most entry-level roles are paid to some extent. In a nutshell, we typically see London PR agencies pay £24k-£27k (or the equivalent) for entry-level talent. ALL INTERNSHIPS SHOULD BE PAID. ALL INTERNSHIPS SHOULD BE PAID. ALL INTERNSHIPS SHOULD BE PAID. ALL INTERNSHIPS SHOULD BE PAID. ALL INTERNSHIPS SHOULD BE PAID. ALL INTERNSHIPS SHOULD BE PAID. ALL INTERNSHIPS SHOULD BE PAID. This is coming from a retired Gen Z intern who was picking up trash at a music festival under the title of 'marketing intern' for free 😭 And let's be honest, school credit and experience should never be reasons for not paying students. You expect them to be there 9-5 in-office at least a few times a week IN THE CITY? If you're getting trained, managing systems, being a key member in a team AND on the company comms channel– pay them. No babes, we aren't doing that anymore... I hope this reaches the right audience :) #internship #marketing #student #toronto

Yes please!THANK YOU for saying it about damn time. Interns are not free labor; we are the ones the companies have to catch up to; we are the target audience of at least 65% of businesses and guess what we have to survive in the same economy as you are, so for God's sake, give us the money, not the benefits. As much as we love the "networking opportunities," "free goodies," or "exposure," we need cash too. The number of people in higher positions who just expect us to believe that money ain't that important and that we should be grateful for the opportunity in the first place is just pathetic. We are the future leaders; we have the potential that you (the people in power) need to tap into, so this is a request to please handle that kind of responsibility with grace and practicality and to not take advantage of our "lack of experience" or naivety.

Translating job descriptions is not necessarily boring. It can even be a promising start. Just as it happens with Radka Chakurova. Having started as an intern 15 years ago, she is now a senior expert in our HR team and an inspiring proof that an internship in the right company can outline someone’s future success. Calling all New Marketing Specialists Are You Ready to Prove What You’re Capable Of? Have you spent years gaining skills, knowledge, and a deep passion for simplifying processes—only to feel overlooked? Maybe you’ve worked in multiple fields, but no one sees your potential. You’re too old for internships, you don’t have the “right” degree, or opportunities seem to pass you by in favor of unqualified candidates. Sound familiar? What if there was a company that truly valued real skills over titles? A place where you could use your abilities, develop new ones, and solve real-world challenges—gaining the experience and confidence to grow your career. A space where action replaces doubt and imposter syndrome fades because you’re not just talking about what you can do—you’re doing it. Would you take the opportunity to prove yourself, even if it was an unpaid internship? Could this be your chance to turn what you know into a future you deserve? If this resonates with you, let’s talk. You’ve got what it takes—now it’s time to show it. Are you interested?
