Today, on National Women in Engineering Day, RevHub showcases the inspiring contributions of women shaping innovation. Dexign 3D, an innovative social enterprise founded by Ghazala Miftah, Assoc. AIA, embodies the spirit of this day by seeing to disrupt the building industry through a revolutionary IDS (Innovative Design System) platform. This system tackles inefficiencies and capital waste inherent in designing for global Net-Zero buildings. But Dexign 3D's story goes beyond groundbreaking technology. It's a testament to the power of investing in women in engineering—a critical aspect of building a thriving impact-first entrepreneurial ecosystem. Studies by Luisa Zhou reveal that women-led businesses reinvest 90% of their profits back into their communities, fostering shared prosperity and economic mobility. Yet, women continue to be underrepresented in the field; according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Women only represent 16.1% of all employed persons in architecture and engineering occupations. Investing in women like Ghazala Miftah, we're not just empowering individual women entrepreneurs, we're strengthening the very foundation of a healthy business ecosystem. Here's why this matters: Diverse perspectives: Women engineers bring unique viewpoints to the table, leading to more creative and comprehensive solutions. Role models: When young girls see women leading the charge in engineering, it shatters stereotypes and paves the way for future generations. Closing the gender gap: Investing in underrepresented women helps close the persistent gender gap in STEM fields, leading to a more well-rounded and innovative technological landscape. RevHub is a leading social enterprise innovator, and fostering a robust ecosystem is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that by backing ventures like Dexign 3D, we can cultivate a world where brilliant minds like Ghazala Miftah's have the resources and support they need to thrive. This National Women in Engineering Day, let's commit to building a more inclusive and equitable ecosystem. Together, we can unlock the full potential of women in engineering and create a brighter future for all. We can describe our experience at Formnext - Where ideas take shape 2024 with one word, which fits perfectly today: 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. Despite the innovations, which this year have left more space for confirmations and upgrades, both in terms of technologies and materials, we can say that this time it was the absolutely inclusive, balanced and respectful approach that left its mark that we have noticed on the industrial and additive market. We saw people, women and men cooperating, building that complicity that we at 3ntr promote every day and which the market today needs to continue to progress. The market needs it and society needs it. And not just today. Ever noticed how in some industries, spotting a woman can feel like finding a unicorn? 🦄 I started my career in electric mobility, where women make up about 25% of the scene. Then, I leaped into additive manufacturing, and poof! The numbers dropped even lower to just about 15%. That's why I enjoyed the "Women in AM Luncheon" organized by MGA Mobility | MGA Medical - Mobility goes Additive e.V. It's like finding your tribe of unicorns where everyone understands the magic and the mishaps of being a woman in tech! #Womenin3Dprinting #WomenInTech #Wi3DP #AdditiveManufacturing

🌟 Exciting times ahead! 🌟 Today, I had the pleasure of attending the Women TechStyle Summit 2024 (Autumn Edition) once again, and it’s been an incredible journey of growth. It’s always inspiring to connect with these amazing women in tech, and the knowledge shared today has truly resonated with me as I continue to develop both my technical and soft skills. One presentation that really struck a chord was about risk management. As someone who has taken a significant leap by transitioning careers, understanding how to see risk as an opportunity feels incredibly empowering. The session on "Risk as an Opportunity – Risk Management in IT Projects" was particularly insightful. Looking forward to sharing a nugget of wisdom from today's conference tomorrow! Here are some of the fantastic presentations I attended: 🔢Prompt Engineering: Shaping the Future of Human-AI Interaction - Practical Intro to Prompt Engineering 🔢Risk as an Opportunity – Risk Management in IT Projects 🔢QA 2.0 - Enhancing Testing with AI And it’s not over yet—there are still more great presentations ahead! 🚀💻 Excited to see where this journey takes me next! www.womentechstyle.pl #WomenInTech #TechSummit #PromptEngineering #RiskManagement #AI #CareerTransition

Scrolling through any social media feed noticing the overflow of so many great pieces of design, only to realize... there just aren't that many women behind them? As the head of the Creative Unit at Lemoni Lab, I see this all the time. Women can bring fresh perspectives, a user-centric focus, and a natural empathy to the table – all key ingredients for creating truly impactful designs. Yet, we still see challenges like unconscious bias and a lack of female role models at the top, and to name a few Vera Cherfane, Samar Sadik, Kate Wisthof, Diana Alkhatib, Ankita Solapurkar, and Hanaa Emad Ghobrial But guess what? That's changing, and fast! More women are pushing boundaries, leading design teams, and inspiring the next generation. It's exciting to see! There's a growing focus on diversity and inclusion in design. Companies are finally realizing the magic that happens when you have a variety of perspectives together. There are more resources and communities for women in design than ever before. But, let's be honest: the gender gap is still real. Sometimes, our ideas might not get the same weight, or we might be underestimated. But hey, that just fuels our fire, right? Speak up, own your voice, and showcase your talent. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there – the design world needs your unique perspective! I see a future where design teams are truly balanced, with women leading the charge on groundbreaking projects. Let's chat in the comments about the future of women in design! #WomenInDesign #DiversityInDesign #DesignTheFuture

Who shapes our AM world? Our talented, ambitious, and intelligent women, that’s who! We have bright women doing many roles throughout Materialise, and we’re proud to say they’re lighting up the industry, too! We believe organizations and society must encourage more women to enter science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields so that we can utilize their talents and represent the other half of the global population. Plus, diversity in the workplace increases creativity, innovation, and commercial success for companies that take it seriously. In this article, we spoke to three inspirational women at Materialise about their additive manufacturing journey, as they shared their challenges, triumphs, and tips on how to get more women into the industry. https://mtls.am/47MJfzW #WomenAtMaterialise #WorkplaceDiversity #WomenIn3DPrinting #WomenInSTEM
