Strong regulatory approvals are in place to protect the Territory’s land and water. The Agribusiness 2030 strategy highlights agribusiness development opportunities to deliver a prosperous, sustainable primary industries. We continue to support the strong regulatory approval processes that are in place to protect the Northern Territory’s vast land and water resources. Successful agriculture is determined by responsible resource management. The regulatory approval processes that are in place are independently managed and underpinned by law. Securing water supply through science backed regulations enables long term sustainability of the plant based agricultural and horticultural precincts across the Territory. The NT Government supports primary industries and is working towards the target of a $40 billion economy by 2030.
