Recently, I had a chat with a leader who confessed his love for ideation, dreaming, and strategizing. Yet, when it came time for execution, he felt deflated. It's a common scenario - many leaders love to envision a better future, explore possibilities, and even determine an overall guiding strategy. 🚀 However, a startling statistic in this article made me sit up and take notice: "Only 44 percent of top team members could list the company’s top three priorities, a number that slipped to just over one-third among their direct reports." 😲 It's evident that the further down the organization you go, the murkier the strategy and goals get.
