I'm hugely passionate about teaching entrepreneurship to children through Biz Kids. But it's not about forcing that career direction on them. It's about getting them engaged with a route that could work for them at a certain point in their lives. That's how entrepreneurship worked for me. I wanted kids but I was working in a very corporate environment that would have made it really difficult for me to do that. The traditional curriculum doesn't really teach these children that entrepreneurship is a genuine option for them unless they pick up GCSE Business when they're in their mid-teens. That's too late. On Biz Kids, we have children who are more than able to grasp the idea and basics of entrepreneurship at the age of seven. It's a chance for them to take control and they're excited by that potential – even at that young age. We're opening kids' minds and giving them the power to see and understand that opportunity is everywhere.
