This new study explores undergraduate Entrepreneurship Education Programmes (EEPs) adopting a novel approach combining datasets to understand impact on student outcomes. Entrepreneurship Education (EE) has grown significantly in universities over the past 40 years, but there is limited literature connecting EE interventions to impacts outside of specific contexts. #Methodology: Benchmarking approach used to explore hypotheses and compare programs. 78 UK undergraduate EEPs identified and data collected on program details. Core modules categorised into subject themes using Common Aggregation Hierarchy. Descriptive statistics and t-tests used to summarise data and determine differences between groups #Hypotheses: - Entrepreneurship is largest core subject theme but does not represent majority of content - EEP students are less satisfied than counterparts in other business and university programs - EEPs have significantly lower one-year continuation rates than national and business degree averages - EEP students have higher employability rates than other business degree students - EEP students have significantly lower initial earnings than national graduate average. #Conclusions: Suggests EEP designers may need to reconsider structure and practices to improve student outcomes. Identifies several avenues for further quantitative and qualitative research on EE. Contrary to expectations, EEPs do not show higher continuation rates, meriting further investigation.
