Founder Next Generation Automation

The story about the QA Engineer even after working on a complex test automation project, finding the next IT Job becomes difficult Name changed Rahul is an good Test Automation Engineer. With God Grace he was working very good US Based MNC in Bangalore. He was working complex test automation project that required lot of coding effort. 1 day his Manager notified him, he needs to quit the company immediate. He asked reason: Manager mentioned performance not good. Rahul knew he has worked lot for project so performance can't be issue. But he could not do much as he had given very less time to quit the company. Now he needs to find next job with lot of stress and most importantly he needs to face the situation for which he was not prepared as he was giving best effort in current job. Few mistakes which Rahul has done 1. Trusted company blindly 2. While he was working and delivering code he never created the sample test automation project in his personal laptop. 3. He never worked increasing his skill set to other technologies which are in demand 4. He never put efforts to increase his networking and use platforms like LinkedIn more frequently Even Rahul is a good Automation Engineer but the company used him till time his presence required in project. After that he was thrown like a piece of blank paper. This story had happened with some of my fellow QA Engineers in past or may happen in future. It's always good consider your every day as Last working day in company and automatically what mistakes Rahul has done you will avoid. Ankur C
