At Annalise.ai, we are proud to see how our AI-driven Chest X-Ray solution is transforming cancer diagnosis pathways in #Scotland. In partnership with NHS Grampian, the Scottish Health Technologies Group, and the Centre for Sustainable Delivery, our solution has: - Cut the time from chest X-rays to Chest CT reporting from 22 days to just 10.1 days. - We’ve also increased the proportion of patients meeting the 62-day cancer treatment target from 52% to 100%. Early detection is crucial. By harnessing #AI, more patients are getting diagnosed and treated earlier, in turn improving patient outcomes. The "C the Signs" AI tool, currently being used in 1,400 GP practices across England, has successfully increased cancer detection rates from 58.7% to 66.0%. This innovative tool analyses patient data, identifies potential cancer risks, and prompts GPs to investigate further. The algorithm has been proven effective, correctly identifying 7,056 out of 7,295 patients with cancer. With the ability to detect over 50 different types of cancers, "C Signs" helps to diagnose patients earlier, increasing their chances of survival. This is a significant development towards achieving NHS England's ambitious target of diagnosing 75% of all cancers at stage one or two by 2028. #AIinHealthcare #CancerDetection #NHSInnovation #DigitalHealth #FutureofHealthcare Read more here 👇 : https://lnkd.in/ecUBdqxi Follow for more emerging technology news.

Despite progress in cancer screening, detection, diagnosis, and management, many patients across the U.S. face challenges in accessing patient-centered, high-quality care. To help combat cancer health disparities, the @President’s Cancer Panel has focused on opportunities to use technology to support patient navigation and improve access to care. I was honored to contribute to the thinking for their latest report in which the Panel outlines specific priorities and recommendations for the responsible development and use of technology to enhance cancer patient navigation. We wholeheartedly support the exploration of tools for early diagnosis of mouth cancer. With 50% of UK cases diagnosed in stages 3 and 4, late diagnosis is a major factor in mortality rates. Early detection can save lives. Let’s invest in research and technology to make this possible. https://lnkd.in/enpU_bwN #MouthCancerAwareness #EarlyDetectionSavesLives

This year's World Lung Cancer Day theme, "Close the care gap: Everyone deserves access to cancer care," emphasizes the urgent need to address disparities in cancer treatment and support. Lung cancer remains one of the most life threatening forms of cancer, and access to timely diagnosis, effective treatments, and comprehensive care can significantly improve outcomes. However, many individuals, especially in low-income regions, face barriers such as lack of healthcare facilities, financial constraints, and limited awareness. This theme calls for a global effort to ensure equitable access to lung cancer care for all, regardless of socioeconomic status, geographical location, or background. By closing the care gap, we can work towards better survival rates, enhanced quality of life for patients, and a more just healthcare system. #DrJyotiRao #MarilynOlivera #SajinSanthosh #PoorneshShetty #SahilChoure #DineshK #AbdulWasim #JVEdTechMedovation #EduGlobe #DigitalAdProexpertise #MediAiInformatics #Digitalhealth #HolisticWellBeing #InHomeWellness

We're turning up the volume on survivor voices. Mission-Driven Tech is excited to announce that our new Brachytherapy patient research has been selected for presentation at next week's AMERICAN BRACHYTHERAPY SOCIETY 2024 World Congress of Brachytherapy on July 11 in Washington D.C. Brachytherapy cures cervical cancer. But even with a cure, 5-year survival rates for cervical cancer diagnoses have been stagnant for 50 years. As a cervical cancer innovation company, we wanted to understand why. And so we spoke with survivors around the world who courageously contributed their voices and lived experiences to our research initiative. The results? A thematic qualitative analysis that identifies critical unmet needs in patient education, treatment experience, pain management protocol and outcomes that can be addressed today. We look forward to sharing our breakthrough research and discussing with Congress attendees next week. #CervicalCancer #WomensHealth #PatientCare #InnovationInHealthcare #CancerSurvivorship

The role of the GP in improving cancer outcomes and achieving equity in cancer care. Did you miss this educational webinar? Watch it online: https://lnkd.in/gpTAvG3i Dr Vivienne Milch shares details of the National Lung Cancer Screening Program (NLCSP) launching in July 2025. She walks through the NLCSP pathway, focusing on the referral stage where GPs will be most heavily involved. A/Prof Carolyn Ee covers the unique healthcare challenges for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities in Australia, revealing these communities: 🎯 Have lower participation in national screening programs 🌲 Are less likely to access palliative care 📢 Are more likely to have unmet physical and informational needs Other key takeaways from the session: 💚 The high patient acceptability and greater affordability of shared care 👩⚕️ The direct link between GP involvement and earlier detection of cancers 🔄 The need to consider familial decision-making within CALD communities This webinar is highly informative and we recommend it to all general practice workers and healthcare professionals working in cancer and chronic disease.
