Recently, our CTO Teun van den Biggelaar spoke at the IEEE EMC Society technical workshop at Kiwa Nederland on high-frequency emission considerations for EMC testing. His talk focused on the fact that above 18 GHz, radiated-emission levels can vary significantly depending on the direction. Traditional spatial field sampling approaches used in (semi-)anechoic chambers can miss important contributions. As a result, devices that pass pre-compliance testing might still fail in the final test lab, leading to delays. Teun presented a TRP-based measurement approach that is easy to adopt, while saving customers time and development costs by preventing missed errors, and by providing early indicators of incompliance. If you are interested in learning more, feel free to contact Teun van den Biggelaar for questions. We appreciate the IEEE EMC Society and Kiwa Nederland for inviting us, together with experts Zhong Cheng of ETS-Lindgren and Ramiro Serra of Eindhoven University of Technology. #EMC #18GHz #40GHz #RadiatedEmissions
This was an amazing event — special thanks to Kiwa Nederland for hosting in that gorgeous facility ... ☺️
Thank you for sharing Teun with our attendees — it was a wonderful event!
