SDG 5: Gender Equality One critical indicator for measuring progress in this area is the proportion of seats held by women in national parliaments. It reflects women's empowerment in decision-making processes crucial for shaping inclusive policies. As we strive for gender equality globally, let's also champion this cause locally in Guernsey to ensure equal representation and opportunities for all. Together, we can build a more equitable future. #SDG5 #GenderEquality #InclusiveLeadership

Whilst nearly a third of countries made 'fast progress' towards gender equality in recent years, 40% backslid or stagnated. With just 5 years left till 2030, it's more important than ever to ramp up commitments and funding towards #GenderEquality. Check out our SDG Gender Index for more detailed actions on how we can build a #GenderEqualFuture! https://lnkd.in/daH3Z8gb
