#ArctechProject On 17th October, #Arctech signed a 2.3 GW supply deal for its signature #1P single-axis #solartracking system #SkyLineII with China Energy Engineering Group Co. Ltd. (#CEEC) at the 2024 International Engineering Supply Chain Development Conference & Exhibition held in Xiamen, China. According to the deal, #Arctech will supply #solartracker SkyLine II with a capacity of 2.3 GW for the #PIF4 project owned by ACWA Power. This project is situated in Taif City, located in the Hadi District of Makkah Province, #SaudiArabia. This desert region often experiences high winds; however, thanks to Arctech's innovative synchronous #multipoint drive mechanism, SkyLine II can operate effectively under such adverse conditions. For instance, it features a wind stow mode that allows horizontal stowing even in winds up to 22m/s. This capability enhances #powergeneration and overall return on investment (ROI) throughout the lifespan of the #powerplant. Upon completion, this project is estimated to generate a total of approximately 156.189 billion kilowatt-hours over 25 years, equivalent to a reduction of nearly 147 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions, which will greatly contribute towards Saudi Arabia's goal of achieving "#2030Vision". #solar #solarpower #solarPV #solarenergy #solartrackers #trackingsystem #renewables #renewableenergy
