Do you remember those excursions you took in primary school? How about when you had someone come in an speak to you about mental health? Remember the fun you had and how much you learned. Now imagine not being able to have this chance because the school can’t afford to send you. It's really important to have these experiences throughout school but lots of schools aren’t as lucky to be able to afford to run these programs on their own. With your help we can give these students the chance to have these experiences. Every dollar helps students get experiences they wouldn’t get just because of where they live. Right now all donations are doubled. For $30 you can ensure a student can attend an excursion, for $45 you can ensure 6 children get to attend an in-school session on wellbeing, for $400 you can pay fund half the cost of transport for a whole class. Donate now to double your impact. Donate at https://lnkd.in/g2nyQT-d

How do Playtime programs prepare children for a healthy, happy, and stable future? Our trauma-informed play curriculum is designed to support social-emotional learning skills, problem-solving skills, and optimism and hope for the future. Play is fun but it's also integral to a child's healthy development, especially for children experiencing housing insecurity or other trauma. If you are able, a donation (of any amount!) to our Spring Campaign between now and May 15 makes a difference. Every gift helps us reach our total goal of $60,000 by May 15. 🗞 Read the blog: https://bit.ly/blog0424 💟 Learn more and donate: bit.ly/springcampaign24 #SpringIntoPlaytime #playtimeproject #playequity #playforall #playmatters #socialemotionallearning #childhooddevelopment #DoMore24 #socialemotionalskills #playtherapy #playlearning #playbasedlearning #powerofplay #traumainformed #childdevelopment

It's a Day to Do Good Today is GivingTuesday—a global day of generosity that reminds us of the power of giving back. One of the things I appreciate most about this day is the opportunity to learn about the causes and organizations that matter most to all of you. For me, Giving Tuesday is a chance to highlight an organization that holds a special place in my heart: Girls on the Run of Southeastern Wisconsin. As Board Chair, I am lucky enough to directly see the impact this nonprofit makes in the lives of young girls. Here’s why I’m so passionate about Girls on the Run: 🌟 Building Confidence: Through programs that combine physical activity and life skills, we empower girls to unlock their inner strength and believe in themselves. 🌟 Creating Connections: The organization brings girls together, fostering friendships and a sense of belonging that stays with them long after the program ends. 🌟 Fueling Accomplishment: Watching a girl cross the finish line of her first 5K is nothing short of magical—it’s a visible, tangible moment of self-belief taking root. I invite you to continue this movement of generosity. Whether it’s giving your time, making a donation, or supporting an organization close to your heart, your act of kindness matters. 👉 Who inspires you to give back? What cause motivates you to take action? Let’s celebrate generosity together. Together, we can create a world that’s truly better together. 🌎💛 Where are you choosing to do good today? Let’s inspire each other! ✨ #GivingTuesday #GirlsOnTheRun #giveconfidence #GOTRsewi

I just learned that today is National Single Parent Day - a day dedicated to recognizing the extraordinary efforts of single parents everywhere. I can quite literally think of no more demanding, relentless, all-encompassing experience than single parenting. If you know a single parent, consider giving them some love today (and often). 1 - offer to watch their child 2 - make them a homemade meal 3 - donate to: https://lnkd.in/gtp77Kpx which provides resources to single parents who make too much to qualify for government assistant, but not enough to come close to thriving Single parents, we see you.

Two Weeks Too Long: Mark's Dream on Hold It's been two weeks since school started, and Mark sits at home, filled with uncertainty and a heavy heart. 😔 School fees arrears stand between him and his education, his dream of becoming a carpenter fading with each passing day. Mark isn't alone. Many children at Another Hope Children's Ministries share his struggle, their futures hanging in the balance due to financial constraints. We refuse to let their dreams be shattered. We refuse to let another day go by without them receiving the education they deserve. Help us change Mark's story. Help us rewrite the narratives of all our children facing this challenge. Donate now and give them the chance to learn, grow, and build a brighter future. ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eymHhCZB Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to ensuring that all our children can access education and pursue their dreams. 🙏 #AnotherHopeChildrensMinistries #EducationForAll #SupportOurChildren #Donate #MakeADifference #Uganda Optional additions:

When was the last time you put a smile on a child’s face? Can you visualize that smile now? Think about how that made you feel. Personally, I find it one of the most rewarding things I do. When you add the smile to the knowledge that you are having a positive impact on the lives of children for generations to come, it only gets better. I’m proud to support Helping Hugs For Children, a wonderful organization founded by my friend Alan Lowe. Alan’s unwavering dedication to creating possibilities for children, where none seem to exist, truly inspires me. What's more interesting is that his passion is fueled by real-life stories. Helping Hugs For Children is committed to breaking the cycle of poverty through education. They are currently raising funds to provide essential educational resources for children in Liberia. Their immediate needs include: Solar Panel for an ABC Class: $100 Educational Materials: $450 for books and pencils Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps provide children with the tools they need to build a brighter future. Your donation will not only bring immediate assistance but also invest in the long-term development of these young minds. Let’s come together to put smiles on hundreds of children's faces, and even thousands of them, because it matters. Join me in supporting this incredible cause—because every child deserves a chance for a better tomorrow. Don’t forget that period supplies are school supplies. We’re proud to donate to schools within our Clark County School District, charter and private schools. This is just a small sample of the schools we’re proud to donate to. 1 in 4 girls miss school each month because they don’t have period supplies. Let’s help all students stay in school all month long, even when they have their period. PERIOD #endperiodpoverty #period #marilyn #periodposse #periodsuppliesareschoolsupplies
