It is very rewarding to see a work being shared and recognized in such a meaningful project. An incredible opportunity to connect art, technology, and human values to create transformative experiences. An identity is an intersection of manifestations, materialized in form, function, and meaning. In this project, we explore how design and technology can transcend aesthetics to become vehicles of transformation. Inspired by the Bauhaus, the project is about humanity, purpose, and how poiesis connects ideas and symbols with material and concrete manifestations of transformation. Design has the power to build bridges, and it’s exciting for me to see how this philosophy resonates and solidifies in corporate environments. It’s the creation of visual systems that translate the truth of a brand. In practice, this means designing with clarity, articulating values, and proposing experiences that reflect who we are and where we are going. I deeply appreciate COMO DL for embracing this methodology and recognizing the potential of this creative process. This acknowledgment not only reinforces the efficiency of this method but also inspires me to continue exploring new ways to transform ideas into reality. The notion that we build buildings to last forever is in the past. That was one of the points I took from Michele De Lucchi's lecture "The Equation," which I attended recently. Both a narrative of his life as an architect and a tract on his current philosophical approach towards design, it was intriguing to hear his perspective on the changing influences and techniques in design over the decades and how he has embraced the shifting tides of design even today. #SingaporeDesignWeek #SDW24
