60 years of electronica — Congratulations to the world's leading trade fair for the electronics industry!   electronicaFair is regarded as an international industry meeting place and reliably represents the entire world of electronics. As electronics play an integral role in almost every area of life today, there are hardly any more exciting trade fairs than electronica! Every two years, it is a key driver for the rapidly growing interconnectedness of communication, knowledge, machines, and infrastructure. 📈   It fills me with pride to be Chairman of the electronica Advisory Board and to help shape the innovative and cross-sector solutions of tomorrow in this way. I am all the more pleased that all 18 exhibition halls will be filled with over 3,000 exhibitors from all over the world for the first time at this year's fair from November 12 to 15 in Munich. 🤯   In terms of content, the focus will be on the future vision of the #AllElectricSociety. In general, the topic of #sustainability will run like a red thread through the entire exhibition area and the supporting program. Against the backdrop of a challenging market environment, the 15th edition of Coiltech Italia provided the industry with a crucial platform to reflect on paths forward and strategies for the future – and finished with some record numbers. Participants not only shared insights but also celebrated the unique sense of community and shared purpose that make Coiltech an inspiring place to be. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: With crises and uncertainties impacting many fronts, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. But Coiltech participants don’t just dream of a better tomorrow – they actively engineer it, demonstrating resilience and innovation in the face of challenges. Both the positive development of international attendance and the video impressions highlight the event’s impact. 𝙵𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚜 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙵𝚒𝚐𝚞𝚛𝚎𝚜 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀: International attendance rose from 32% to 38%, with visitors from 51 countries. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: The share of visitors attending the fair on both days increased from 17.7% in 2023 to 19.3% in 2024. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘁: Visitor numbers remained steady (3,123 vs. 3,166 in 2023). While international attendance grew by 13%, the slight dip in Italian visitors was likely due to severe weather in Bologna and current economic challenges. As an ISF-certified event, we are committed to reporting accurate numbers. This distinction qualifies Coiltech as a "UFI-Approved International Event" and sets it apart in the Coil Winding exhibition landscape. 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗥 Expectations for the GrindingHub are high after its magnificent launch in 2022. The organization is confident that this 2nd edition 2024 will be an excellent leading trade fair for the industry. The increase in exhibitors from Asia is particularly impressive. This is especially evident with the Chinese: the number of Chinese exhibitors has grown from 4 to 32. China is currently the largest national manufacturer and the largest market for grinding technology. KGS DIAMOND is once again participating in this GrindingHub and we operate internationally and also have several locations in China. Sounds indicate that the GrindingHub fits well with the exhibition philosophy of many. For example, there are many meetings with customers and much to see in terms of new developments in the industry. In short, a very interesting fair to visit May 14-17 in Stuttgart. At the opening of the UFI Global Congress, Philip Harting, Chairman of AUMA, said a few words of welcome to the international audience from the trade fair industry. He shared three main ideas and put them up for discussion. 🟣 "The first thought is about trade: Trade fairs are the ultimate meeting places, hubs, focal points for people and their ideas. Trade fairs are the best marketplaces, they are places of trade and platforms for strong networks. We, the trade fair people, are bringing economy to life. We are matching supply and demand. And we are matching innovators and problem solvers. What we really need for doing this is free trade." 🔴 "My second thought concerns cooperation. Who, if not us trade fair people, knows what partnership and cooperation mean: Strong trade fairs are when organisers and exhibitors are on the same page. The exhibitor advisory boards in Germany support effectively this kind of cooperation. (...) As a businessman and exhibitor, I am committed to powerful trade fair formats. Such formats generate attention, thrill visitors, bring people together and promote future topics. Please let us understand trade fairs as a collective format. (...) Consequently, the trade fair is and remains not just a good investment, but is a smart one, too!" 🔵 "And finally, a third thought that is important to me personally: Personal attitude. Trade fairs are complex, they are diverse, they are colourful. I want them to stay that way. We can no longer solve problems within narrow national borders or by marginalising people. This year, PlasmaSolve has been traveling A LOT 🛫 🛬 . We have already been to the 🇺🇸hashtag #SVCTechCon🇺🇸 , 🇺🇸hashtag #ICMCTF🇺🇸 trade shows and we are going to 🇪🇺hashtag #PSE🇩🇪 in September, as well as several regional events throughout the year. Supporting such a presence for a small company like ours has always been a challenge ... for obvious reasons 💸 💸💸 . But this year, it got significantly easier thanks to Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and their pro-export programme, where they covered about 50% of our travel expenses for trade shows. And that makes a big difference! I think this is a great example of meaningful government incentive - focused, well-defined, aimed at small companies👏 🙌 👏🙌 👏. We are proud to represent European and Czech industry overseas as well as close to home 🇪🇺🇨🇿! And a part of the funds we save is re-invested to sponsoring these wonderful events, so everybody wins 😉 . Project „Export support for PlasmaSolve through participation in international events in 2024“, reg. no. CZ.01.02.01/04/23_017/0001928 is co-funded by the European Union. The aim of the project is to strengthen PlasmaSolve's export activities through participation in international events. These are three specific international conferences and trade fairs, which are among the most important events in the coating technology industry.

Siemens uses smart analytics from Ariadne at The smarter E Europe 2024 trade fair 💡 Many thanks to Siemens for the trust! 🚀 The pilot project made it possible to use Ariadne sensors to anonymously record the number of visits, visitor routes and dwell times at the Siemens stand and in defined sub-areas in real time. Siemens' large exhibition areas required detailed data, and the Ariadne solution provided an unprecedented level of depth of information.
