𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥 #Day2 We visited three companies: the venture studio Moon Creative Lab (part of the Mitsui Group), Cisco and Zoom. Each meeting left a lasting impression! 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬: ✨ Partnerships as the Driving Force Even large corporations prioritise partnerships. This is what makes Silicon Valley’s ecosystem so strong and dynamic. ✨ Focus on Talent and Autonomy Many companies emphasised hiring smart, proactive people and giving them freedom. It’s a recipe for creativity and big ideas. ✨ The Speed of Innovation Everything here revolves around speed — fast processes, minimal meetings, and almost no bureaucracy. The term "Fast Lane for Innovation" perfectly describes how quickly ideas come to life. ✨ Passion Creates Magic This motto rings true for many companies here. If someone is passionate about what they do, the chances of success are sky-high. ✨ Knowing When to Let Go We heard a lot about the “sunk cost fallacy.” Companies here excel at cutting their losses when a project isn’t working—even if they’ve invested a lot. This rational approach is a game-changer. ✨ Customer First Zoom really impressed me with its focus on people. It doesn’t see itself as a telecom company but as a platform for communication, productivity, and connection. ✨ Personal Highlight: Moon Creative Lab was pure inspiration! Their processes encourage employees to generate, develop, and even lead their own projects as founders.Thank you for the amazing presentation, Michael Peng! Silicon Valley is an extraordinary mix of talent, ideas, and money that creates magic. I’m full of fresh insights and motivation — looking forward to the upcoming days. #siliconvalley #higlights #innovation
That means a lot, Artem! Thanks for the shoutout and glad you enjoyed the visit to Moon :)
