Micromobility in Europe: The Big Five is everywhere...or almost! As we all know, the micromobility market is in a phase of consolidation. Its evolution was recently marked by the Dott-TIER Mobility merger and a resounding new fund-raising by Voi Technology. By taking a geographical approach, counting the number of European cities where these players are present, we offer an overview of the operating areas of the 5 giants of free-floating soft mobility (one of whom is our customer ❤️), highlighting the density of their presence. The results are clear: 🥇 Dott-TIER Mobility seems to be the player with the highest density of activity in Europe. 🛴 Germany is Europe's leading micromobility country. 🆕 -Poland has all the potential of a new giant. 🚀 Everything remains to be done in Southern Europe, notably in Spain and France. This situation can be explained in several ways: 🚦 Limitations on the number of operators per city in some southern European countries. ❌ The ban on certain shared mobility services (Paris), 🌍 Mobility habits that vary from region to region. How will Dott-TIER Mobility capitalize on its merger? How will Voi Technology pursue its development after prioritizing its costs? How will Bolt and Lime position themselves to meet all these challenges? To be continued... ⌛ Any thoughts? Share it with us in comments Source of our analysis : Free Floating Micro Mobility Map Europe by Augustin Friedel 🚲 🛴 🛵 🚘

🌍 There is no planet B. We must act now for a sustainable future, not just for ourselves but for generations to come. Imagine a world where your business thrives while benefiting the planet. By collaborating with other businesses, we can achieve greater success and make a positive environmental impact. In my role at Korsholms kommun - Mustasaaren kunta - Korsholm Municipality, I'm excited to announce our next project: developing a service network/ecosystem with a circular economy approach. Our aim is to identify key components for a successful circular economy and explore ways to scale it up. Initially, we seek a Nordic partner for a small-scale Interreg Aurora project, focusing on front office solutions for circular economy. This includes project development, mapping resource flows, networking with schools, and establishing a knowledge center where local innovations can be showcased. Finland and the global community have countless circular economy initiatives. What if we could connect these smaller projects into a larger, cohesive effort? Is there a gap in circular economy knowledge platforms, and how can we elevate this to the next level? Could you be our partner, or do you know someone perfect for this venture? Let's connect and make a lasting impact together. Please reach out! #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #Collaboration #FutureOfBusiness #EnvironmentalImpact #InterregAurora #NordicInnovation

How to enable seamless mobility even cross border in the Nordics. ITSDanmark is part of the nemu project. How to use open mobility data to make it easier to use sustainable modes of transport in the Nordics and beyond. Join the kick off webinar for the project December 3 and follow the project from the start. See details below
NEMU project – Kick-off webinar!🏁 NEMU – Nordic Ecosystem Mobility Unlimited – is about elevating Nordic Connectivity. The NEMU project is owned by Nordic+, with the partners ITS Norway, ITS Finland, ITSDanmark and ITS-Ísland, in addition to Entur AS, Matkahuolto og SFMCON, funeded partially by Nordic Innovation, and with the duration periode 2024-2027. The EU's Green Deal and Nordic Vision 2030: The Nordic Region will become the world's most sustainable and integrated region by 2030. Although using a private car or flying to cross borders in the Nordics is both easy and digital, planning and traveling by public transport or sea-based is fragmented and mostly limited to national borders. The NEMU project will demonstrate that using public transport and private transport providers to travel across the Nordic region is also possible and easy. The initiative leverages existing open mobility data to enable seamless, sustainable and borderless travel across Nordic countries by using one app and paying once. Tuesday 3rd of December at 09:00-12:00 CET we will kick off the project with a introductory webinar about NEMU - we look forward to seeing you!🤩 👉 Read more and sign up here: https://lnkd.in/dEmb_5zv #Nordicplus #ITS #intelligenttransportsystems #transport #mobility #technology #digitalization ITSDanmark | ITS Estonia | ITS Finland | ITS Norway | ITS Sweden | ITS-Ísland | ITS Latvia | Nordic Innovation
