#hiring IT Environment Assessment Analyst in Parker, CO Email resume to info@projas.com Responsibilities: Network/Systems Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of the existing IT network infrastructure, documenting all components, their purpose, implementation dates, and maintenance/replacement cycles. Review and analyze findings and recommendations from the recently completed Network Master Plan. IT Systems and Programs Evaluation: Evaluate the customer's current systems and programs, including software, applications, and networks, benchmarking against current industry standards. Assess the current service approach and compare it with industry best practices, identifying areas for optimization. IT Service Management Review: Examine existing IT service delivery and support structures, including help desk functions, end-user support, and established processes/procedures. Evaluate the effectiveness of these systems and identify any bottlenecks or areas for improvement. Gain a comprehensive understanding of IT roles and responsibilities, how work is assigned and managed, and the overall service management framework. Personnel and Organizational Structure Analysis: Review the current IT organizational structure, roles, and responsibilities. Analyze the alignment of current resources with the customer's present and future IT needs. Review and provide a detailed analysis of the current organizational structure, staffing levels, positions, and the collective skillset of the IT team. Compare the customer's IT structure and resources with similar organizations to identify potential areas for improvement. Develop recommendations for enhancing the IT team's core functions to better support the customer's mission and objectives. Reporting and Recommendations: Deliver a comprehensive written report detailing the current state of the customer's IT Division, including resource deployment and a comparison against industry standards and best practices. Identify and clearly articulate any gaps between current IT operations and industry best practices within the report. Provide specific, actionable, and prioritized recommendations to address identified gaps and enhance IT service delivery. Ensure recommendations are designed to meet the customer's needs in a cost-efficient and effective manner. Qualifications: Proven experience in IT systems analysis and assessment. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles. Familiarity with IT service management best practices (ITIL/ITSM). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
