My MBA journey - Reflecting on Failures and Growth: 📍 During my first year of MBA, I suffered heavily because of academic intensity, trying to adjust to the fast pace of the program and transitioning into a different lifestyle altogether 📍 No matter how much I tried to stay positive, I ended up comparing myself to others and being nervous and anxious 📍 There were days when I did not feel like doing anything at all which only made me feel worse 📍 During my summer internship, I poured my heart and soul into the project, but unfortunately it did not translate into a PPO 📍 I participated in several corporate case competitions, investing countless hours preparing and strategising. Despite my best efforts, I didn’t always clinch the top spot Failure was a constant companion on this journey but it was also my greatest teacher. It allowed me to seek support, develop coping mechanisms, revisit my strategies of doing things and developing within me a willingness to learn and improve. As I step into the professional world, I carry these lessons with me, knowing that every challenge is an opportunity for growth. Remember, behind every smiling face you see on social media, there is a person facing their own challenges. Let this be a gentle nudge to practise kindness towards yourself and others. We all stumble and learn from our mistakes so let’s support each other in our journeys of continuous self improvement! ✨ #XIMB #Convocation #MBA

The MBA experience isn’t what they tell you....... Before starting an MBA, we often hear things like, “It’ll change your life” or “You’ll walk out with a high-paying job.” But the reality is different. An MBA is more than just lectures and a degree—it’s a true test of patience, adaptability, and resilience. The truth is: 🔹 It’s not always glamorous -> Between case studies, late nights, and endless group projects, the workload can be overwhelming. 🔹 The competition is fierce ->You’re surrounded by brilliant minds, and it’s easy to question yourself. “Am I good enough?” becomes a frequent thought. 🔹 Internships don’t guarantee success -> Landing that dream internship is only the beginning. The real challenge is making an impact while balancing everything else. 🔹 Reality vs. Expectations -> The idea of an MBA as a “ticket” to instant success? It’s a myth. Success is built on the skills, confidence, and experiences you gather—not just the degree. An MBA is about more than the end result. It teaches you how to face challenges, handle failures, and keep pushing forward when times get tough. And that’s the real win. To everyone on this MBA journey..... trust yourself ❤️ The journey may be tough, but it shapes you in ways that no textbook ever could.

Nothing matters, whatever you achieve, It's not legendary, unless your friends are there to see it. ~Barney Stinson I am excited to share a glimpse of my enriching MBA journey with all of you. The transformative and profound experience was truly enriched by the exceptional people around me. My friends, with their unwavering support, played a pivotal role in my personal and professional growth. Equally instrumental were the seniors, whose guidance and mentorship were invaluable. They generously shared their wisdom, helping me navigate the complexities of the program and inspiring me to push my boundaries. These connections not only enhanced my learning experience but also forged lasting bonds that I cherish deeply. Engaging my MBA journey from Symbiosis Centre For Management and Human Resource Development Centre For Management and Human Resource Development, coupled with an insightful summer internship at Everest Industries Limited Industries Limited, I was able to bring academic concepts to life in practical settings, This combination of experience allowed me to understand industry dynamics, and enhance my skills through projects such as Market research, Network sustainability & Customer retention. Reflecting on my 2 year experience, the blend of rigorous coursework and hands-on projects has prepared me for real-world challenges. I'm grateful for this journey and eager to apply these insights in my professional endeavours. In the whirlwind of MBA life, I discovered a knack for making friends, bonding over shared struggles from nerve-wracking orientations to caffeine fueled study sessions. From themed parties with PowerPoint presentations to "strategic planning" sessions at the local bar, every moment was ripe for camaraderie and laughter. Networking events became opportunities for mingling while discreetly checking LinkedIn profiles. Despite challenges like solving case studies after one too many cups of coffee, the journey wasn't just about earning a degree but about friendships forged over late-night pizza runs and group projects gone awry. Here's to my MBA crew, who turned every obstacle into an adventure and made the experience truly unforgettable. Thanks for watching.✌️😎🤘 #mba #business #management #mbalife #scmhrd #college #symbiosis #marketing #commerce #bschool #mbaexpierence

Amidst the ‘Red Walls of Contradictions’ where limits do not count! I still remember the day I stepped into business school, eager to trade theory for practice. Almost 1.5 years flew by in a whirlwind of late-night group projects, grueling exams, transformative summer internships, and leadership roles that tested my mettle. My MBA journey began with a reality check: I wasn't the smartest person in the room. But I was determined to learn from everyone. Classmates from diverse backgrounds and industries broadened my perspective, challenging my assumptions and fueling my curiosity. As a member of the highly coveted Admissions Team, I faced a new challenge: delivering results under pressure. With the stakes at their highest, I learned to: - Manage conflicting priorities - Motivate teams towards a common goal - Make tough decisions with limited information - Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders But it was my Summer Internship that pushed me to my limits. Thrown into unknown places, surrounded by alien faces, I had: - No clear direction or guidance - No one to share my struggles or successes - No roadmap to success - Hundreds of diverse individuals to meet and learn from daily - Constantly adapting to new realities, challenges, and expectations It was tough. I felt stuck, lost, and uncertain. But in that chaos, I discovered: - Resilience: Bouncing back from setbacks and failures - Adaptability: Navigating uncertainty and ambiguity - Emotional Intelligence: Understanding and managing team dynamics - Decisiveness: Weighing options and making informed choices Through this journey, I delivered and implemented solutions that added long-term value to the organization. The sense of pride and accomplishment was overwhelming. Networking events turned into meaningful connections. I met professionals who shared their stories, failures, and successes. Their experiences became my lessons, shaping my leadership style and values. Through it all, I learned that: Maturity isn't measured by seniority; it's forged through experience. Growth happens outside comfort zones. Diversity is the greatest teacher. Resilience is the ultimate differentiator. My MBA journey hasn’t just been about academics; it has been a transformation. I discovered my potential, honed my skills, crafted my own recipe of surviving and thriving against all odds. #MBALife #LeadershipDevelopment #PersonalGrowth #ProfessionalNetworking #Resilience #SelfAwareness #DiversityMatters #BusinessEducation #MaturityMatters #TransformativeJourney #StudentLeadership #CharacterBuilding #SummerInternship #ChallengingExperiences
