Researchers from IITGN have discovered an innovative way to synthesise carbon nanoparticles (CNPs) from an unlikely source - the vibrant Bougainvillea plant. The team gleaned new insights into how nanotechnology can shape plant growth and development by synthesising carbon nanoparticles (CNPs) from the Bougainvillea pollen and bracts through a one-stop, eco-friendly process. The research, published in Chemical Papers, was a product of multidisciplinary efforts from various labs at IITGN. Mr Raviraj B. Barot, Dr Nilesh D.
