Vietnam – U.S. Trade Surpasses $100 Billion in 2024 In the first nine months of 2024, trade between Vietnam and the United States surpassed the $100 billion mark, reaching a total turnover of $100.3 billion. Vietnam's exports to the U.S. are estimated at $89.4 billion, accounting for 29.8% of the country's total export turnover and increasing by 27.4% compared to the same period last year. However, Vietnamese enterprises need to be mindful of the U.S.'s trade defense measures to mitigate risks. According to the General Department of Customs, trade between Vietnam and the U.S. first reached the $100 billion mark in 2021 and has continued to grow in subsequent years.
