This is how we got here. 🛣 Since the Breaking Barriers Report released in 2023, we knew the conversation had to continue, but more importantly, it had to progress. Women were open and candid with us. They told us personal stories about the challenges that the tech industry presented. The next goal was to understand what women want and need to overcome those challenges. We sent a survey out to a community of 5000. But we knew that solutionising isn't just women’s responsibility; it requires change that everyone can take ownership of. So, we brought together businesses and reviewed the survey results. The organisations in the room shared successful initiatives supporting what women want, as well as sharing gaps and discussing what more needs to be done. Combining these insights, we conducted our own research on businesses leading the way in supporting women in tech. By shining a light on their strategies, others can be inspired. That is what makes up the "What women in tech want" 2024 report and our journey to getting here. Get the report straight to your inbox on 2nd September ➡ https://bit.ly/46rhDzE. Don't miss out. A huge thank you to the businesses who took part in our workshops 👏 : Cloud Imperium Games, Xewli, MAG (Airports Group), Mason Advisory Limited, Competition and Markets Authority, IAG GBS, Siemens Mobility, Avantor, Barclays UK, Calisen, Cpl, evaluagent®, Evidenced, Hologic, Inc., Iceland Foods, Lincolnshire Co-op, NSE (National Student Esports), NCC Group. #WomenInTech #DEI #InclusiveTech #WIT #WhatWomenWant #WWITW #GirlsinTech #Diversity
