Successfully providing the required performance and verifying our system design are crucial at #ERC. To ensure this, we perform detailed tests on our equipment and systems. To perform detailed test of any equipment, we need state of the art test facilities, and one such test bench is Motor Test Stand (MTS). This is instrumental in testing the main components of the electric engines in our propulsion systems: the engine control unit and the motor. Although MTS is a typical motor-generator test bench working in back-to-back configuration, what makes it significant is its instrumentation system, power handling capacity and versatility. MTS uses advanced sensors with high precision and accuracy to measure important parameters such as DC and AC voltage, current, temperature, mechanical torque, and speed. It is not only used to obtain performance characteristics of motor and inverter but can also be used to obtain their thermal behaviour by operating them in a controlled environment and monitoring the parameters meticulously. These tests are crucial for validating and verifying the performance, reliability, and safety requirements before installation in aircraft. #MTS #Aerospace

These devices typically operate in relatively stable environments with relatively low requirements for environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and vibration. 2. Performance requirements: It should have a certain level of reliability and stability, and be able to meet the operational needs in industrial production. In terms of performance, industrial grade electronic components typically have moderate accuracy, speed, and power consumption. 3. These standards regulate various properties of electronic components, but the requirements are relatively lenient. 4. Price: The price is relatively cheap. ✅2.Auto grade electronic components 1. 📣❔ What happens when fan rotation is blocked? When a unit's rotor is unable to rotate, it enters a locked rotor condition, causing the current draw to increase. The unit’s response varies based on its design. Current will continue to rise until motor failure occurs or the unit's locked rotor protection kicks in, limiting current until the unit is powered down. Without intervention, damage to the motor or electronics is inevitable. Fans equipped with locked rotor protection can prevent catastrophic motor failure during a locked rotor condition. This protection ensures that, even after a locked rotor event, the fan will likely not suffer significant damage. In the world of electric motors, 2 primary designs stand out: axial flux and radial flux. But what is the difference in the magnetic field orientation? Axial Flux Motors: The magnetic field lines run parallel to the axis of rotation. With disk-shaped rotors and stators, the magnetic flux travels axially (along the shaft). Radial Flux Motors: Here, the magnetic field lines run radially (perpendicular to the axis). The cylindrical rotor and stator direct the magnetic flux from the center outward or inward. The orientation of the magnetic field in axial flux versus radial flux motors plays a critical role in determining their performance characteristics, design, and suitability for various applications. We are very glad to share our recent article regarding an optimized dq-frame admittance modeling method for small-signal stability analysis of railway vehicle-grid systems, published in IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics. As revealed in this paper, the traditional dq modeling suffers from the non-negligible errors brought by the non-ideal orthogonal β components of dq control at non-fundamental frequencies. An optimized dq admittance modeling method for the single-phase converter in vehicles is proposed and validated by stability analysis and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations.
