Recently Dainius Staniulis, Chief Commercial Officer at Avion Express, has shared insights on airline industry and Avion Express growth in an interview with ch-aviation. “By using the current environment that we are in, I would say we have good grounds to enter markets where we have not been before, or start working with new customers, to demonstrate to them that ACMI is a good model to support their capacity", says Dainius. In regard to Avion Express expansion to Brazil, Dainius comments: “It’s not only the Brazilian market, but you also need to look at South America or the Americas as a whole. We are working with each and every customer in the Americas. I’ve been thinking a lot about how airport slot games impact airlines and their operations. It’s interesting to see how the competition for takeoff and landing slots can shape an airline’s strategy. Securing the right slots at busy airports isn’t just a game of luck; it’s a crucial element that can make or break an airline’s success. When airlines have access to prime slots, they can offer more flights and better schedules, which ultimately enhances the travel experience for passengers. It’s fascinating how this behind-the-scenes game influences everything from ticket prices to route availability.
