The theory of Multiple Intelligences (MI) challenges the traditional conception of intelligence as a single, fixed characteristic. The leadership of the twentieth century witnessed a shift from one type of intelligence to another due to changing societal needs. Much previous research has attempted to draw out the relationship between MI and leadership performance. This chapter reviews the definitions and models in the field of MI and the connection between MI and leadership. In today's unpredictable business environment, this skill is more crucial than ever. The rapid pace of change, from technology shifts to market disruptions, demands leaders who can maintain a stable outlook amidst chaos. This is not about denying or minimising the impact of change.
