It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly four years since we at Advania Ísland first met with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central team in Lyngby, Denmark, to begin our SaaS journey. Over that time, we’ve connected with incredible experts who have shared valuable insights on how to grow our customer base with greater efficiency while delivering top-tier products and services. Special thanks to Sharka Chobot from Neural Impact for helping us rethink how we position our products in the market and leverage platforms like Microsoft AppSource. However, throughout this journey, we didn’t fully grasp the need to realign our service offerings to accommodate the unique requirements of a SaaS model—until now. Earlier this year, I had the privilege of meeting Johan Adenmark from NAB Solutions AB. My goal was straightforward: to learn how they successfully transformed their Business Central service after the 2008 economic crisis—a strategy that had a profound impact on their business. At the time, we at Advania Ísland were in the process of reviewing our Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to better align with our Business Central SaaS initiatives. We knew something had to change, but weren’t quite sure what direction to take. Our goal was clear: deliver a service that exceeded our customers' expectations. The meeting with Johan Adenmark proved pivotal. Last week, we proudly introduced a breakthrough approach to the Icelandic market—a direct result of our learnings and hard work.
