I know founders spending years trying to explain my business. And failing miserably at it. Here's a framework that can change everything: 1. Focus on the problem first • What keeps your customers up at night? • What makes them lose money? • What wastes their precious time? 2. Show what life looks like without your solution • Paint a picture of their daily struggles • Highlight the cost of not solving it • Make them feel the pain they're experiencing 3. Present your solution clearly • Use simple, everyday language • Break it down into digestible steps • Remove all industry jargon 4. Demonstrate the transformation • Show them life after using your solution • Be specific about the benefits • Use real examples and numbers 5. Address objections upfront • List common concerns • Provide clear answers • Show proof where possible The truth is, no one cares about your product's features. They care about how it makes their life better. I learned this the hard way through countless failed pitches. Now when I explain my business, I focus on one thing: The transformation my clients experience. Because that's what sells - not fancy features or technical specs. Your solution might be complex.
