Banner’s BDMs have been on hand to attend a number of prominent Aftermarket Trade Evenings of late, none being more important than that of long standing customer, D&A Factors. Indeed it was a pleasure to help support their trade show held at the Jim Clarke Hall located at Errol Airfield, an event that saw D&A celebrate its 50th Anniversary. Taking place over two days, the event attracted a great turn out from both suppliers and D&A customers who took the time to join in the celebrations. Here’s what Banner’s man on the ground, BDM Kevin Roberts, had to say: “Everyone connected with D&A should be really proud of themselves. It was obvious that a lot of hard work and endeavour had gone into making the event so successful and in such a poignant venue with its obvious links to all things automotive. However, the excellence of a product alone is #insufficient to sustain a brand's success. The critical factor that can make or break a brand is its after-sales #service, an area where #Skoda #India is alarmingly #deficient. Despite Skoda's world-class products, the management and #dealership network in India are plagued with poor customer service. This shortcoming is not a minor inconvenience but a significant threat to the brand's integrity and longevity. #Customers who #invest in a Skoda #vehicle expect not just a great #car but also reliable and respectful service throughout their ownership journey. Reports of customers feeling #deceived and #cheated by Skoda's dealerships are becoming alarmingly common. This #betrayal of trust can have devastating effects on customer #loyalty and brand reputation. When customers invest their hard-earned money into a vehicle, they expect transparency, honesty, and a commitment to their satisfaction—expectations that Skoda's current after-sales service is failing to meet. A worrying trend among Škoda Auto and its dealers is the evasion of responsibility. Rather than addressing customer concerns directly, they provide evasive responses and actions. This lack of accountability is worsened by poor workmanship, with service advisors often recommending unnecessary work without proper diagnosis. This behavior, whether due to incompetence or a deliberate strategy to deceive customers. After-sales service is the backbone of customer satisfaction and brand loyalty to make a brand either thrive or falter. Skoda India's inability to provide reliable after-sales service not only frustrates customers but also undermines their confidence in the brand. If SKODA India continues on its current path, the long-term consequences could be dire. Customers who feel ignored and mistreated will inevitably turn away from the brand, no matter how excellent the product is. Owning a #Skoda will be overshadowed by the frustration of dealing with subpar service. #India is one of Skoda’s strongest markets outside its home country. The very customers who may soon be the ones showing them the door. 1. Accountability: Establishing strict accountability measures to address and rectify customer complaints swiftly and effectively. 2. Customer-Centric Approach: Shifting the focus to a customer-centric approach that prioritizes long-term relationships over short-term gains. 3. Integrity in Service: Ensuring all service recommendations are genuinely needed and based on thorough diagnostics, eliminating any practices of unnecessary repairs or services. Skoda India stands at a crossroads.

I gathered, cleaned, and analyzed data on used Porsche Taycan models to better understand their availability, pricing trends, depreciation, and listing durations. Here are some key takeaways: • You could write off 150,000 CHF in 3 years on a Turbo S. • Nearly 65% of listed cars have had their price reduced at least once. • On average, cars have been listed for 200 days (with a median of 122 days). • Apparently, Taycans aren’t super popular in Appenzell or Glarus.
