#GenerativeAI today is probably somewhere close to the top of its hype cycle, much like online retail was at the end of the Nineties. It has since taken Internet technologies and #fintech the best part of the last two decades to drive #digitaltransformation in #financialservices. Financial institutions across #MENA are however adopting #genAI at a much faster pace, unencumbered by legacy technologies and encouraged by national regulators. Banks in the region are piloting multiple domain-specific LLM for a range of use cases, including optimising client journeys and adaptive product management, to deliver improved experiences for clients. Some innovative CTO are using #genAI to also drive down technical debt and to identify innovative new integration patterns across their #digital landscapes. Innovative start-ups that enable banks to safely pilot multiple LLM in parallel, and to compare results in a consistent manner are further accelerating adoption.
