🌱 Small Collisions, Big Impact: BERMANFALK Shifts to Sustainable Packaging 🌱 Sometimes, it’s the small collisions that create massive change. A few years ago, I had a conversation with Paul McElroy from Highgate, and it gave me the gentle nudge I needed to explore MindClick’s platform. Fast-forward to today and BERMANFALK Hospitality Group has shifted our packaging practices to a more sustainable model—all thanks to that pivotal conversation. At BERMANFALK, we’re proud to say we’ve removed EPS foam from our packaging and replaced it with recyclable honeycomb cardboard. This small shift is having a big impact by significantly reducing the waste that ends up in landfills and lowering our carbon footprint. The sustainability journey can be about massive overnight changes—however, I posit that many of these smaller steps lead to profound improvements over time. Partnering with MindClick helped us measure our environmental impact and strengthen our roadmap for continuous improvement, and Paul’s recommendation was the spark that got it all started. Here’s what I’ve learned: 💡 Measure what matters: If you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it. MindClick gave us the tools to quantify our impact and focus on real solutions. 💡 Collaboration is key: Whether it’s through nudges from friends or partnerships with platforms like MindClick, meaningful change happens when we work together. 💡 Small changes lead to big results: Swapping EPS foam for a more eco-friendly option is just one example of how small shifts can ripple out to make a significant difference. I am grateful for the journey so far and excited for what’s ahead as we continue to innovate and push for sustainability in all aspects of our business. "A waterfall starts with one drop of water." 🌍 🎧 You can listen to the full story and my conversation about this journey on Defining Hospitality [Episode 170] with the link in the comments! #Sustainability #Packaging #Hospitality #Collaboration #MindClick #EcoFriendly #Innovation

✨ Closing 2024: Challenges, Growth, and Circular Milestones ✨ As the year draws to a close, I must highlight the incredible work we have managed to do with the Koldbath Craft Kollektiv team. One of our proudest achievements? Collaborating with Djerf Avenue on an exciting upcycled collection that truly pushed the boundaries of craft and circularity. 🔄 What we accomplished: - We upcycled over 50 bedsheets (200cm x 200cm)—roughly 400 sqm of organic cotton! - Countless hours went into separating trims and buttons, shredding fabrics, assembling patchwork, and quilting. The result? A collection that’s as innovative in craft as it is impactful for sustainability. 🌍 Why it matters: By repurposing Djerf Avenue’s leftovers and unsold products, we helped reduce landfill waste while saving an estimated 375,000–500,000 liters of water. That’s the incredible impact of using existing materials instead of producing new organic cotton—every square meter counts! 🤝 Collaborative efforts: This project was made possible thanks to support from incredible industry players like Ridestore, BABATAN, and local recovery centers, who helped us source upcycled components. 💡 Lessons and future focus: This production was challenging. It tested our limits and made us question parts of our model, but it also sparked new ideas for pushing forward outsourced circularity, social impact, and local production. At Koldbath, we pride ourselves on being a women’s cooperative— a micro-factory in West Sweden where intergenerational and intercultural collaborations drive our mission. As we step into 2025, we’re filled with hope and excitement for what’s to come. Huge thanks to my team members at Koldbath for their resilience, teamwork, and unwavering dedication to delivering this project. Here’s to a new year of bold ideas, impactful partnerships, and even bigger milestones for sustainability! ✨ #Koldbath #Sustainability #Upcycling #CircularEconomy PS: And all the products are now *sold out* on their website!

I’m proud to share Aveown’s vision for the future of ownership and sustainability. The lack of post-sale traceability is holding back both businesses and consumers from achieving real circularity. At Aveown, we’re tackling this challenge head-on by providing the tools and framework to track products after they leave the store. If you’re passionate about sustainability, this is the movement to watch. 🌍 Check out the original post below to learn how we’re reshaping the future of ownership, and let me know your thoughts! #CircularEconomy #Sustainability #Aveown #GreenFuture
The lack of traceability after the point of sale is a critical issue that disrupts both businesses and consumers. Once a product leaves the store, companies lose visibility, making it difficult to gather valuable data on product use, longevity, and customer satisfaction. This gap leads to missed opportunities for improving products and enhancing customer relationships. For consumers, it raises concerns about authenticity, resale value, and the ability to participate in sustainable practices like recycling and repair. Without post-sale traceability, the journey of a product becomes opaque, hindering efforts to create a truly circular and sustainable economy. 🔄 It's time for businesses to rethink how they track products post-sale, turning missed opportunities into innovative solutions. Join the Movement!! Aveown is more than just a digital platform; it's a movement towards a more efficient and sustainable way of living. Whether you're an individual looking to manage your assets better or a company aiming to implement circular business models, Aveown provides the tools and framework to make it happen. Stay tuned to learn more about how Aveown is reshaping the future of ownership and how you can be a part of this exciting journey! #DigitalTransformation #CircularEconomy #Innovation #Sustainability #FutureOfOwnership
