Last weekend was an eye-opening, energising and inspiring one. I completed the The Climate Reality Project Leadership Training in Rome with former US Vice-President Al Gore and his team. Three days of science, politics and innovation focused skills-building for those looking to be a #climateleader in their community, company or country. I'll be writing more about this in coming weeks, so please follow me here and on Medium - https://lnkd.in/dvA4xUES My main takeaways were: 1 - We already have all the technology we need to reduce emissions by 50%, it's just a matter of being laser-focused on the implementation 2 - Stopping new fossil fuel funding and calling out greenwashing are the biggest things we can do to get us back on track 3 - If you ever feel like you're the only one who cares, you're not. There are thousands of us all around the world that are ready to lead change and make real impact.
Good to meet you and brilliant takeaways!
Bravo

6moCongratulations Avinash Bhavnani proud to have been your bench partner through 9th and 10th grade and even though I’ve never said it before; thanks for helping me through math diagrams and guidance through personally what were the toughest moments of my life. All selflessly without any expectations in return but by the sheer magnitude of your willingness to help others. I see it brilliantly taking shape now.
