Foot perfusion is great method to evaluate the hemodynamics of CLI patients, but the dilemma is that it requires a large amount of contrast agent (30-100mL/scan), making it difficult to use in CLI patients, many of whom are CKD patients. Surprisingly, Singapore General Hospital was able to reduce the amount of contrast agent down to average of 4.8 mL/scan by utilizing Alphenix 4D CT.   This ability to perform "catheter-directed intra-arterial" CT scan at any part of body that realizes fine image quality with minimal contrast usage is one of AngioCT's greatest strengths.   Join us in learning more from Dr. Farah of Singapore General Hospital.
