COP29 Side Event Reminder! If you're attending COP29 in Baku, don’t miss our side event session this Saturday, November 16th, from 1:30 to 2:15 PM GMT+4 at the Children and Youth Pavilion. We welcome you to join us for an important discussion on “Localising Green Technology Innovation: The Role of the Youth”. Organised by APRI and the Strategic Youth Network for Development (SYND), this session will explore both the challenges and opportunities faced by African economies at the crossroads of climate change, environmental degradation, and the call for sustainable development. With abundant natural resources and a youthful population, the continent has a unique chance to lead in green technology innovation. While some young Africans are already making progress in the sector, many remain disconnected from opportunities due to limited awareness, skill gaps, and a lack of access to resources.
