As professionals, we’ve all had to struggle with the occasional feeling like we are running on empty, strained, and overwhelmed, but one major key to breaking free from this cycle lies in serving others. My journey with volunteering began in medical school, where I participated in numerous community outreach programs, these experiences not only helped sharpen my skills but also ignited a sense of purpose within me. I’ve learned that serving others shifts our focus from scarcity to abundance, as collective efforts can drive meaningful change, as well as the ripple effects of kindness and compassion. If you’re feeling drained or uncertain, I encourage you to explore opportunities to serve, whether through volunteering, mentoring, or simply lending a helping hand. #Volunteering #CommunityService #PersonalGrowth #Purpose #Fulfillment #SocialImpact #ProfessionalDevelopment

Well said Ayooluwa Odekunle, lately I've been thinking about this and just seeing this post re-evaluates my thought about mentoring. While volunteering, mentoring or simply lending a helping out, we'll be helping someone and helping ourselves in the process. ✨ Thanks for sharing.
