May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a national observance started in 1949 to bring attention to the importance of mental health and wellness. Across the country, individuals and organizations step up to raise awareness of and help address the challenges faced by people living with mental health conditions. May is an important month of observation where the world comes together to shed light on the importance of maintaining mental wellness. Together, we can continue to have open dialogue to spread awareness, reduce stigma, and increase access and support for those seeking mental healthcare services. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we will be sharing thoughts from members of our organization as to why they started a career in behavioral health, challenges that must be addressed and how we, as industry leaders, can continue to improve access and equality of care. #MayMentalHealthAwarenessMonth #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #ThisisHorizonHealth #HorizonHealth #BehavioralHealthSolutions

As we come together to recognize Mental Health Awareness Month/Week, it's vital to acknowledge the impact mental health has on our lives, both personally and professionally. Let's use this time to amplify our commitment to mental well-being, not just this month, but every day. In our workplaces, creating a culture of understanding and support for mental health is paramount. Encouraging open conversations, providing resources for mental health education, and promoting self-care practices are essential steps toward building a healthier work environment. Let's also remember that mental health is not a one-size-fits-all issue. Each person's journey is unique, and it's important to approach mental health with empathy, respect, and inclusivity. By breaking down stigmas and barriers, we can create a more compassionate society where seeking help is not only accepted but encouraged. Together, let's pledge to prioritize mental well-being, support each other, and work towards a future where mental health is treated with the same importance as physical health. #MentalHealthAwareness #EndTheStigma #WellnessAtWork

🌿 Celebrating Mental Health Awareness Week! 🌿 Today, our office is a vibrant sea of green as we come together to support Mental Health Awareness Week. Wear It Green Day is a powerful reminder of the importance of mental health and the need to foster an environment where everyone feels safe, supported, and understood. Here are a few reasons why this day is so important to us: 💚 Promotes Awareness: Mental health issues affect millions, yet many suffer in silence. Raising awareness can encourage those struggling to seek help. 💚 Encourages Open Dialogue: Talking about mental health openly can reduce stigma and promote a culture of support and understanding. 💚 Shows Solidarity: Wearing green is a simple yet powerful way to show that mental health matters and that no one has to face their struggles alone. Let’s continue to support each other, not just today, but every day. Together, we can create a workplace where mental well-being is a priority and everyone feels valued and heard Alison Emptage Sarah Gordon (Langford) Michelle Nunkoo Vinita Bonini Roxanne Moss jamie mccrindle Kate Gaskell Katie Rock (Powley) (she/her) Eleanor Smith MCIPD Corinne Lewis #iwork4dell #delltechnologies #MentalHealthAwareness #WearItGreenDay #MentalWellbeing

This week, as we observe #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, we're reminded of the importance of breaking the stigma surrounding mental health. Despite progress, stigma around mental health still persists in UK workplaces. Only 13% of employees feel comfortable discussing mental health with their manager. It's time to create open, supportive cultures where everyone feels heard and valued. Lets break the silence! At our company, we're committed to supporting mental health awareness. This year's theme, Movement, has inspired us to take action. Our challenge is to collectively walk the distance between our four bases – from Cumbernauld to Harlow via Barnsley and Bromsgrove! A total of 434 miles. While we won't be walking the actual route, we're uniting as a company to cover the distance together locally. Walking has so many mental health benefits and we encourage everyone to step outside and take a walk with colleagues, friends and family! Join us on Thursday for Green Day, where everyone will wear green to show solidarity and support for mental health awareness. Let's continue the conversation and work towards a culture of openness and support. #MentalHealthAwareness #EndTheStigma
