There's no better way to wrap your head around the current #Energytransition than seeing our energy consumption, by source, over time. It's not hard to see that as a planet when we find a new source of energy we exploit it for all its worth. Not only that but when we find potent energy sources we tend to stick with them. The challenge ahead is transitioning from carbon-intensive fuel sources to renewables, which means removing the three most utilized energy sources in history and doing so in the next 26 years.
