My Internship Experience at Continental: Navigating the Future of Mobility 🌟   I'm thrilled to take you through my internship experience at Continental, where I've been immersing myself in an incredible learning journey for the past months. Continental shines not just for its commitment to innovation but also for creating an environment where interns like myself can thrive and grow. 📚 At Continental, there's a strong culture of mentorship and support among interns (In the picture below are my intern colleagues Ayoub Madani, Rahim Öztürk). My adventure here has allowed me to get hands-on with various aspects of the business, from project management to reporting and analysis, constantly broadening my horizons. 🌱💡 The team responsible for guiding me places a lot of trust in what I can do, allowing me the freedom to tackle my work independently.🧑💻 Yet, they’re always readily available to assist the moment I seek guidance by my supervisor Tanja Sollazzo, and her colleagues Daniel Haeffelin & @Frank-Dieter Draese fostering a nurturing and productive work environment. Car Price Prediction Model (Internship Project) During my internship at Oasis Infobyte, I built a car price prediction model that estimates the selling price of used cars based on features like car age, fuel type, kilometers driven, and transmission type. I used a Random Forest Regressor to predict prices with high accuracy. Key project elements include: Feature engineering (e.g., calculating car age) Encoding categorical variables (fuel type, transmission) Model evaluation using R-squared and Mean Absolute Error (MAE) This project reflects my ability to develop machine learning models for real-world applications in the automotive industry.
