The 2024 edition of the International Association of Fairs and Expos (IAFE) Convention & Trade Show was sold out.
It also reported an increase in exhibitors by 11.1% over 2023, which resulted in an increase in net square feet sold of 11.7%. Additionally, sponsorship revenues increased by over 20% this year.
“The increase can be attributed to the continued rebound of the event industry, which was severely impacted by the pandemic,” Steve Siever, Director of Sales at IAFE, said. “In addition, the fair business as a whole continues to offer a value proposition to fair guests. Community celebrations thrive in times of economic uncertainty. We continue to see fairs nationwide and beyond reporting good numbers when weather does not make an impact.”
