Interventional Radiology UKGM MARBURG We have so many fancy tools in interventional radiology - however - there are old and effective techniques that should not be forgotten. One of these techniques is lumbar sympathicolysis. Today I saw a really comorbid lady with Rutherford stage IV PAD for the 1 week f/u after sympathicolysis. She was smiling at me for taking away the pain (and keeping her leg). Do not forget to think about the simple techniques - fancy and expensive is not always the best way for a given patient. #interventionalradiolgy, #IRAD, #PAD
