At SaaStock, I met John Roche from Intercom. We got talking, and it didn’t take long to realize we could do something exciting together for Web Summit. It’s a wrap - such an awesome day! The first NYSE Tech Summit SF is in the books! Thank you to everyone that participated - I had a great time, made/refreshed contacts and loved the content. What a night — Thank you Mark Sullivan and Salesforce for hosting the reception on your Ohana floor. Totally understand that sometimes ‘Karl’ shows up 😁 - even so it was a great kick off! Engaging conversations (Arif we definitely had the best table 🤣) with Lightspeed and our speakers at dinner - great spot! I’m glad I saved room for cheese cake (San Fran cheesecake… it’s a thing!). Thursday was jam-packed— Really appreciate all the of the panelists and speakers from our NYSE-listed companies, VCs and Bay-area startups. Great conversations and networking! Was a busy day with so many connections old and new (and some first time f2f) - BUT - can’t take the foot off the gas - - NYSE LaunchPad is running full steam - NYSE Tech Council is announced - NYSE Tech Summit NY Oct 7 and 8th I’m leaving with (you may have had to be there) — - protect your data - low power may not mean what you think (do you want to pull a train load with a moped?) - dont be afraid to collaborate - it’s only one transaction; there will be more - be scared - remember widgets?
